No trip to Florida is complete without a trip to Disney World. Disney World is not just for kids and it offers many exciting things for adults to do.  You can pick up affordable Disney World tickets and spend a week or more relaxing in this vacation getaway spot.

There are many things for adults to do at Disney World.  A few of them that might surprise you are:

Stay at a five star hotel:

The Four Seasons Resort just opened in August, 2014.   It offers 434 rooms, fitness facilities, spa services including a salon,  a golf course, tennis, four restaurants, two lounges, and in room dining.  The Oasis is an adult only, outdoor pool that has a view of a lake and underwater audio as well as a Jacuzzi to relax in.  If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil retreat this is the place for you.

Golf:

Walt Disney World has three golf courses that are on the PGA tour available that are managed by the Arnold Palmer Golf Management Group.  So check out these links that Tiger Woods and the other pros have played on.  If you are staying in Walt Disney World Resort you can get free taxi service to and from the courses.

Camp:

Go camping at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.  You can bring your own tent or recreational vehicles or stay in a rustic cabin.  All camping sites have electrical, cable hookups, and some include sewer hookups as well.  Some of the sites even allow you to bring a pet along on your vacation.  Go horseback riding or canoeing or give archery a try.  There is also a pool with a waterslide and a whirlpool spa.

Rides:

• There are many exciting rides that are sure to thrill adults as well as kids.  Check out the Rock n’ Roll Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith and relive your youth on this thrilling coaster.
• At Space Mountain undergo preparations to become an astronaut or take the thrilling rocket ride.  This area was designed with the help of an astronaut so it is sure to please people of all ages.
• Head to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and try out Summit Plummet a thrilling 120 foot slide.  After these thrilling rides be sure to head to Disney Hollywood Studios and check out The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and relive this amazing television series.

Shopping: 

There are over two hundred stores to choose from where you can pick up everything from souvenirs to art, clothing and much more.

World Class Shows:

Check out the Cirque du Soleil La Nouba or take a short ride out of the park and experience the exciting Burlesque show of Treasure Tavern.

Airboat Ride through the Everglades:  If you are in the Orlando area anyway you must check out this thrilling adventure.  The Everglades are an ecosystem like nowhere else on earth.  See alligators, turtles, migratory birds, twenty foot snakes and many other unique creatures and plants.  Experience speeds of up to 70km per hour.
